The Sweet Home Education Foundation Mini-Grant Program supports staff members’ innovative ideas by funding grants for classroom use.
Staff members complete an application, including number of students affected, grant purpose, and potential outcomes.
A committee consisting of community members evaluates all applicants in a “blind” scoring system.
Grant limit is $1,000 and is offered in the fall.
For additional information on how to participate, download the Flyer for Staff Applicants below.
For additional information about your donation, download the Flyer for Donors found below.
The Sweet Home Education Foundation (SHEF) Board hopes that you and your students have gotten off to a great start in 2024-25. At this time, the SHEF Board of Directors would like to announce that the application window for 2024-25 Mini-Grants is now open!
The SHEF Mini-Grant program is designed to help any staff member looking for an award to help improve the student experience and learning for our kids! In 2023-24, SHEF made awards totaling close to $6000 to support a variety of projects for students at all levels of our school community.
This fall, SHEF will again be making awards of up to $1000 to successful applicants. If you are interested in seeking a 2024-25 SHEF Mini-Grant, download the attached information sheet, application form and grant program rubric found using the "Apply Today" button found below.
These forms have everything you'll need to know about the grants, grant requirements and success criteria. The rubric should be helpful in guiding your application. In the Mini Grant Folder you will also be able to view successful applications from prior grant cycles to help provide examples to help you in crafting your own application.
Please complete the application and submit all required materials no later than Wednesday, October 16th.
The SHEF Mini-Grant selection team will be reviewing the applications and will notify the successful applicants by Friday, November 1st!
If you have any questions, please contact the SHEF Mini-Grant team at shefminigrants@gmail.com.
